Exhibition Hall

🌟 What to Expect in the Exhibition Hall

Step into the Exhibition Hall — one of the show’s heartlands — where community skill, creativity and local produce shine. Inside, you’ll discover a wide range of competitive displays and exhibits that celebrate the region’s agricultural, artistic, and home-crafting talents.

🎨 A Rich Variety of Entries

The hall features dozens of categories, including:

  • Fresh produce — vegetables, fruit, nuts and other homegrown goods.
  • Home-produced items — preserves, jams, pickles, honey, dairy products, home-brew and amateur wines.
  • Cooking & baking — homemade cakes, pies, baked goods and other entries from talented local cooks.
  • Arts, crafts & handiwork — knitting, crochet, needlework, ceramics, pottery, porcelain work, china painting, and other handmade creations.
  • Visual arts — paintings, drawings, and amateur photography.

🏆 Community Spirit & Friendly Competition

Many of the exhibits are part of judged competitions, encouraging local growers, artisans, hobbyists, bakers, photographers and families — including school-aged children — to showcase their talents and creativity.

🎭 More Than Displays — Live Demonstrations & Stage Events

Nearby, you’ll often find demonstrations and performances on the main stage, adding entertainment, music and community showcases to the Exhibition Hall experience.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who It’s Great For

Whether you love gardens and homemade produce, enjoy arts and crafts, admire local creativity, or simply want to explore the heart of the Show’s community spirit, the Exhibition Hall offers something for everyone. It’s a celebration of talent, tradition and the joy of creating.

With coffee carts, cool drinks, and plenty of sweet surprises, it’s the perfect place to relax, refuel, and savour the tastes of the region.

River Market

Experience the River Markets — a relaxed, riverside highlight of the Kelmscott Show that brings together arts, crafts, family fun and local community spirit. Set along the banks of the Canning River at Rushton Park, the River Markets (open Saturday during Show-day) offer a colourful mix of handmade goods, market stalls and unique finds from local creators and artisans.
